Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered
Godzilla Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered System Requirements
Pre-release guide. Facts will be rechecked after the November 3, 2026 launch.
Steam now publishes a minimum PC box for Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered. The recommended box is still empty — the storefront shows the heading and nothing under it. That split matters. Minimum is a 2018 mid-range desktop that can hold Unreal Engine 5 debris at some picture. It is not a promise of 4K 60. Console SKUs remain the intended showcase: PS5 and Xbox Series list 4K Ultra HD language, Switch 2 is the conservative cartridge, and Steam Deck compatibility is still Unknown. Read this page as a floor, then test the October 15 Steam demo before you buy a GPU you did not already own.

Official Steam minimum
| Item | Minimum |
|---|---|
| OS | Windows 10 64-bit (Windows 11 preferred) |
| Processor | Intel Core i5-8400 / AMD Ryzen 5 2600 |
| Memory | 16 GB RAM |
| Graphics | NVIDIA GTX 1060 6 GB / AMD RX 580 8 GB, DirectX 12 / Shader Model 6 |
| Storage | 6 GB available space |
The floor is heavier than a GameCube port and lighter than an open-world Unreal 5 epic. 16 GB of RAM is the number that will bounce 8 GB laptops. The GTX 1060 6 GB / RX 580 8 GB pair is the same generation Atari used for other current-gen brawlers; VRAM is the real gate, not 2016 raster scores. DirectX 12 and Shader Model 6 rule out last-decade iGPUs. Six gigabytes of disk is tiny for UE5, which suggests streamed cities rather than a packed 80 GB install. SSD is not named. Use one anyway. Map the PC control scheme to a pad before launch week — Steam already flags full controller support and recommends a gamepad because projectile aim was built for a C-stick, not a mouse flick.
Confirmed platforms
| Platform | Status | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| PlayStation 5 | Physical + digital | DualSense haptics, $29.99 disc |
| Xbox Series X|S | Digital | 4K Ultra HD listed, no disc SKU |
| PC (Steam) | Windows | Minimum posted, Deck unknown |
| Nintendo Switch 2 | Physical + digital | $39.99 game-on-cart |
| Nintendo Switch | Listed in press | Treat as digital until retail says otherwise |
Xbox store copy currently lists local multiplayer for 2–4 players, online 2 players, 4K Ultra HD, and single-player. Console online on Xbox may require Game Pass Essential, Premium, or Ultimate. That is an Xbox network rule, not an Atari extra. Details live on the multiplayer page. If you are choosing a SKU, the pre-order page breaks down discs versus downloads.
What the minimum does not tell you
City night variants, weather, and particle-heavy beams will cost more than Monster Island daylight. Four-player local with debris is a different budget from a 1v1 on the Mothership. Pipeworks rebuilt arenas larger than the 2002 blocks, so fill-rate and occlusion both rose. If you sit on the GTX 1060 line, drop shadows and effects before you drop resolution — kaiju silhouettes need to read at a distance. The 2002 versus remaster page explains why this is not a resolution wrap. If a store aggregator still lists 8 GB of RAM, it is quoting a different game.
Languages, ratings, extras
Interface: English, French, Italian, German, Spanish (Spain), Japanese. Full audio: English. Subtitles: all six. ESRB listing in retail feeds has sat at Teen for fantasy violence; some pages still show Rating Pending during the submission window. Steam Family Sharing is blocked until release. No microtransactions are listed on PCGamingWiki. Gallery stills are in-game unlocks, not cash shop items. See gallery and unlocks.
Accessibility and display
Native haptics are a selling point. Color-blind filters, subtitle scale, and camera shake toggles have not been documented. The original game used yellow, blue, and red hit flashes to signal blunt versus edged effectiveness. If those flashes return, they are gameplay information, not decoration. The combat guide explains how to read them. 4K is advertised on Xbox Series and implied on PS5. Switch 2 will be the conservative picture. If you need a stable 60, test the Steam demo in windowed mode before you lock a 4K-only preset.

FAQ
What are the official PC requirements?
Minimum: Windows 10 64-bit (Windows 11 preferred), Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600, 16 GB RAM, NVIDIA GTX 1060 6 GB or AMD RX 580 8 GB with DirectX 12 / Shader Model 6, and 6 GB of storage. Recommended hardware is still unpublished on Steam.
Is a controller required on PC?
Steam marks full controller support and recommends a pad. Keyboard bindings will exist, but the 2002 C-stick aim translates poorly to a mouse unless you slow the camera.
Will it run on Steam Deck?
Compatibility is unknown. Unreal Engine 5 plus debris is a hard handheld target. Wait for a verified rating after the October 15 demo.
Does Xbox One or PS4 get a version?
No. Current-gen only: PS5, Xbox Series, Switch / Switch 2, and PC.
