Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered
How to Beat Godzilla Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered
Pre-release guide. Facts will be rechecked after the November 3, 2026 launch.
“How to beat” searches usually mean one of three walls: a Hard Adventure boss, Survival’s single health bar, or a flyer you cannot anti-air. This page is those walls. For the eight-fight list see Adventure. For verbs see how to play.
How to beat Hard Adventure
Three continues. The CPU reads your beam charge and jumps it. Stop holding breath from across Tokyo. Tap a projectile, walk, grab. On Gigan and Destoroyah, block the edged strings and only punish the long buzzsaw. Mecha-King Ghidorah on London is the air check: look up, hold beam, do not chase into the sky with a Godzilla jump. Mechagodzilla on the Mothership is a gunner; close the gap after a missed volley. If you are out of continues, you were mashing. Medium is the practice ladder. Easy will not teach the punish.
How to beat Survival
One health bar, a trickle of regen, a timer per opponent. You are not here to style. You are here to steal health pickups and end fights with grabs. Skip Destruction greed; tanks on a Survival run are how you die to chip. Pick Heisei Godzilla or Gigan, not Rodan. Flyers waste seconds landing. If the remaster keeps the original timer, a stalled Ghidorah is a loss even if you are “winning” the life trade.
How to beat flyers and gunners
Aim the head. That is the whole trick. Right stick exists because King Ghidorah will sit above your default breath line. Jump-beam if the old assist still tracks. Otherwise super-jump, tap projectile, land, block the counter. Gunner mechs lose when you run (trigger plus stick) around a building and grab. A long-range beam war with Kiryu is their game, not yours, unless you also brought a mech. The matchup chart marks air bodies so you stop picking Anguirus into three maps of sky.
How to beat the shop FOMO
You do not need Orga to finish the game. Beat Adventure with a starter, buy one new tool, go back in. The unlock guide is the anti-panic page.

FAQ
What is the hardest 2002 fight?
Mechagodzilla on the Mothership for most starters, Mecha-King Ghidorah if you cannot look up. Hard Destoroyah if you refuse to block edged strings.
Does Survival have a final boss?
It is a sequence until you die. There is no trophy screen that ends the mode besides your own knockout.
Can I cheese with Mothra pickups?
Yes, once. Good CPUs beam her off. Do not build a strategy on a coin flip UFO.
Any tips for four-player melee?
Stay at the edge, steal kills, do not be the person in the middle of three beams. Score modes reward survival more than pride.
