Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered
Godzilla Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered Campaigns
Pre-release guide. Facts will be rechecked after the November 3, 2026 launch.
Official feature lists for Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered include additional single-player campaigns for each kaiju. That sentence is easy to over-read. The 2002 game already gave every monster an Adventure run: eight city fights and a Mothership finale against Mecha-King Ghidorah or Mechagodzilla. The remaster keeps that skeleton and then, in Atari’s own bullets, adds extra campaigns on top. Pipeworks has not published a mission list, a unique-boss table, or an hour count for those extras. This page says what is confirmed, what is still 2002 muscle memory, and what you should not invent in a Steam thread.
- Base Adventure
- 8 fights + Mothership
- Extra campaigns
- One per kaiju (listed)
- Unlocks
- Currency, any order
- Mission list
- Not public
What Adventure still is
You pick a monster. The Vortaak have the rest of the planet on a leash. You smash through a sequence of cities until you board the Alien Mothership and cut the core. In 2002 the path was eight matches, continues on a budget, and a final that punished empty energy bars. Heisei Godzilla’s route is still the teaching run. Gigan’s route is still a teleport exam. Orga’s route is still a late-game heavy. The Adventure walkthrough covers that eight-fight spine. How to beat covers Hard continues, Survival, and the last-stock walls. Do not skip those two if you came here looking for a boss order.
What “extra campaigns” likely means
Press and store copy repeat the same clause: additional single-player campaigns for each kaiju. Instant-Gaming, Gematsu, and Atari’s own feature list all carry it. IGN’s hands-on called it one of the more exciting additions after online play. None of them published a unique mission for Anguirus that Godzilla does not also get. The honest reading until November 3: each of the twelve fighters has a dedicated single-player package besides a generic versus match, and that package is more than “pick Gigan and mash Adventure.” Whether that means new opponent orders, extra Mothership variants, or short character stories is unpublished.
How this interacts with unlocks
In 2002, finishing Adventure as a specific monster was the gate for the next body. That chain is dead. Currency from any mode — including whatever these extra campaigns pay — buys kaiju, stages, and gallery stills in any order. You can main Rodan on day one if you farm. You can ignore Adventure entirely and still complete the tracker. The extra campaigns are content, not a lock. Treat them as a reason to learn a moveset, not as a second gated FAQ.
If you are planning a completionist week, budget one Adventure clear to learn the Mothership interior, then spend currency on a monster you actually want, then run that monster’s extra campaign once it is in the menu. Do not grind twelve Adventures on November 3 because a 2003 GameFAQs file told you to. The 2002 versus remaster page is the reminder.
How to prepare before the list exists
- Learn movement on the how to play page so a new campaign intro cannot dunk you.
- Pick a build per monster instead of one “main” you force into every extra run.
- Know the eight stages including the Mothership cage. Extra campaigns will reuse cities; they will not invent Manhattan.
- Use the Steam demo on October 15 to see whether a campaign option even appears in the trial menu.

FAQ
Is Adventure gone?
No. Adventure remains the eight-fight plus Mothership campaign. Extra per-kaiju campaigns sit beside it according to official feature lists.
Do extra campaigns unlock monsters?
Unlocks are currency-based. Campaigns may pay currency. They are not the 2002 chain.
How long is each extra campaign?
Unpublished. Do not quote a number you saw in a comment. After launch this FAQ gets a measured answer.
Should I wait for the demo?
Yes if you want to see whether a campaign menu even appears in the trial. Adventure teaching still lives on the Adventure page either way.
